Cobetter hydrophobic ePTFE, with excellent sealing capability and optimized water & bacterial resistance, is therefore used in a wide range of medical air venting applications, involving infusion therapy, transducer protector, drug delivery, aqueous collection, and drug preservation. The constant water/alcohol/oil repelled ability of the porous ePTFE membrane promises long-time gas venting function, and the typical pore size range ensures no microorganism & particle entrance during gas venting. A wide range of backing (support) materials support multiple sealing technologies.
